We’re a growing lawn care company in San Antonio, TX. The owner handles high-level strategy and finances. We have a field manager handling routing and crew communication.
We need a sharp, reliable operator who takes execution off the owner’s plate and grows into a bigger role over time.
You must have experience working with or for a lawn care, landscaping or home service company. This is required, not optional.
What you’ll own:
HIRING: Build and manage our hiring pipeline from scratch. Post ads, review applicants daily, create response templates, and keep our applicant tracking log updated.
MARKETING: Count houses in target areas using Google Maps/Earth and build our marketing tracker. Create and maintain a monthly marketing map so we know exactly where we’ve distributed and what’s working.
SALES & RETENTION: Listen to recorded sales calls and build a scoring rubric to track performance. Track quotes sent vs. closed and deliver a weekly conversion report. Follow up with at-risk clients to reduce cancellations. Send quote follow-ups based on photos submitted by field techs.
DATA & ANALYSIS: Organize churn data in Google Sheets and surface trends for the owner to act on. Maintain recurring tracking logs. Pull reports from our software and summarize key numbers.
SYSTEMS: Build SOPs from scratch as you learn our processes. Organize Google Drive into a clean structure for field and office use. Build onboarding materials for new hires over time.
GROWTH PATH: This role starts in execution. As you prove reliability it expands into marketing coordination, sales oversight, and client success management.
Requirements: Neutral English accent — you will communicate directly with US clients. Available to answer inbound calls during hours you are clocked in, including some evenings and weekends. Dual monitors, webcam, fast stable internet. Google Workspace proficient. Organized and self-directed. Available during US Central time hours with meaningful overlap.
HOW TO APPLY — subject line must say: “Lawn Care VA – [Your Name]”
Include: short intro, your experience with a home service or lawn care company, one example of similar work you’ve done, your availability including evenings and weekends, and your rate expectation.
Also include: a screenshot of your internet speed and a 60-90 second video introducing yourself, describing your home service experience, and showing us your workstation and monitors.
Record the video and upload it to Google Drive. Set the sharing to “anyone with the link can view” and paste the link in your application.
