Overview
Seeking an experienced RFP & Grant Writer with a proven track record supporting U.S. federal and state contract proposals.
This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for someone who understands the full lifecycle of government proposals—from opportunity identification to submission—and knows how to write strategically, not just respond.
If you’ve successfully contributed to winning proposals, understand compliance requirements, and can translate technical scope into compelling narratives, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
Identify and evaluate U.S. federal, state, and local RFP/RFQ/grant opportunities
Lead and support proposal development from start to submission
Write clear, compliant, and compelling proposal responses
Interpret solicitations, scopes of work, and compliance requirements
Collaborate with internal teams to gather technical content
Develop capability statements, past performance narratives, and resumes
Ensure submissions meet all deadlines, formatting, and compliance standards
Maintain proposal libraries, templates, and boilerplate content
What You Must Have (Non-Negotiable)
Direct experience writing U.S. federal and/or state proposals or grants
Strong understanding of:
RFP / RFQ / RFI processes
Government compliance requirements
Evaluation criteria and scoring
Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and submissions
Excellent business writing and editing skills (U.S. English)
Experience using tools like
Ability to work independently and think strategically—not just follow instructions
