JOB OVERVIEW

We are a growing flooring company looking for a reliable and highly communicative tea ---------- mber to handle customer follow-up and appointment scheduling.

This role is critical to our sales process. You will be the first point of contact for incoming leads and will help guide potential customers toward booking an in-home estimate.

We are currently generating a steady flow of leads and are planning to increase our marketing efforts significantly in the near future. This means your role will grow, and you will be responsible for calling new form submissions promptly and converting them into scheduled appointments.

You will also be stepping into an active pipeline of existing leads that require consistent follow-up.

Work Schedule (Eastern Time – EST):

Monday–Friday:
12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Saturday:
10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Responsibilities:

Call new leads as soon as they submit a form
Follow up with existing leads from our pipeline
Call, text, and communicate with customers in clear, professional English
Schedule appointments at the following time slots:
9:00 AM
12:00 PM
3:00 PM
6:00 PM (Monday–Friday)
Consistently follow up with unresponsive leads:
Up to 3 attempts per day for the first 30 days
Then 1 attempt per day during the second month
Keep records of communication and appointment status
Guide customers toward booking with confidence and clarity

Compensation:

Hourly Pay: Competitive (based on experience)
Booking Bonus: Paid for each qualified appointment scheduled

???? A qualified appointment means:

The customer is interested in flooring installation or replacement (not small repairs)
The project fits our services (no handyman-type jobs)
The homeowner is serious and available for an in-home estimate

Requirements:

Strong, fluent English (spoken and written)
Confident and comfortable on the phone (this is a phone-heavy role)
Sales mindset (you should be able to guide conversations, not just take messages)
Organized and consistent with follow-ups
Reliable internet connection and quiet work environment

Bonus (Preferred but Not Required):

Experience in sales or customer service
Experience with CRM systems
Experience handling inbound leads

Systems & Tools Provided:
We have an organized system in place to manage leads, track follow-ups, and handle communication efficiently.

You will be provided access to a system that allows you to call and text customers directly
Our system helps you stay organized and manage follow-ups effectively
As long as you have a reliable internet connection, you will be able to work smoothly within our system

Training Provided:
We will train you on:

How to qualify leads properly
What types of jobs we accept
How to communicate with homeowners
How to confidently guide customers toward booking

What We’re Looking For:
Someone who is proactive, persistent, and understands that follow-up is where deals are won. This is not just a call center role—you are helping convert leads into real customers.

We value quality over quantity—booking the right appointments, not just filling the schedule.

Application Instructions:
To show attention to detail, please begin your application with the word: “Flooring”

1. Describe your experience with phone-based roles.

Have you handled inbound or outbound calls?
What type of conversations were you responsible for (sales, customer service, appointment setting, etc.)?

2. How would you respond to this situation?
A customer says: “I’m just looking right now, I’m not ready to schedule anything yet.”

???? (We are looking for someone who can guide the conversation—not just accept the objection.)

3. What makes an appointment “qualified” in your opinion?
???? (We want to see if they understand the difference between a serious lead and a time-waster.)

4. Record a short voice message (2–3 minutes):
Introduce yourself as if you are calling a new lead who just submitted a form for flooring.
