JOB OVERVIEW

???? Performance Bonus — Up to $5,000

This is a performance-driven role, not a time-based one.

We value results more than hours worked — that’s why we offer large performance bonuses. High-performing editors can earn merit-based bonuses up to $10,000.

Bonuses are tied directly to:
1. Ads that perform and scale
2. Strong retention and thumb-stop rates
3. Consistent first-edit approvals
4. Ownership, speed, and reliability

Bonuses are not tied to seniority or time spent online.

If you think like a growth partner, understand how ads convert, and take ownership of outcomes — this role offers real upside, not capped potential.

?? Read This First — Who This Role Is For

Apply only if you are:
1. Hungry to grow fast
2. Serious about long-term skill and income growth
3. Someone who values performance over hours worked
4. Comfortable in a high-expectation, fast-moving environment

We are a performance marketing agency managing multiple e-commerce brands and have generated over USD $10,000,000 in total revenue.

Our growth is rapid.
Our standards are high.
Our ability to adapt quickly is critical.

This role is not for beginners.

That said — you will not be left alone.

We have senior-level strategists and operators who actively review work, give feedback, and help you grow into a top-tier performance editor.

If you want:
Stability without growth ? this is not the role
Comfort without accountability ? this is not the role

If you want to compound skills, income, and career trajectory — keep reading.

???? Overview
Your job is to turn winning scripts and concepts into performance-ready ads that hit hard within the first few seconds and convert on the back end.

You’re not just editing videos — you’re building ads that are made to scale.

This means:
- Hitting the hook fast
- Keeping the viewer engaged throughout
- Bringing product and outcome to life visually
- Matching the format to the platform (Meta, TikTok, YouTube)

Experience & Fit (Read Carefully)
This role is not suitable for junior editors, social media editors, or branding-only creatives.

1. Deep Understanding of Human Psychology (Required)
? You understand how viewers emotionally process ads, not just how to edit clips.
? You know how to use visual pacing, sequencing, and framing to guide emotion
? You can translate fear, relief, curiosity, urgency, desire, and trust into visuals
? You actively think about what the viewer feels second-by-second

2. 3–5+ Years in the E-commerce Editing Industry (Non-Negotiable)
? You have at least 3–5 years of experience in editing e-commerce ads.
? You’ve edited ads for products that sell online, not just content for views
? You understand funnels, presell logic, and why certain creatives scale

3. E-commerce Performance Editors Only
? Paid social ads (Meta, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
? UGC-style conversion creatives
? Performance-focused editing (hooks, retention, CTAs)

If your background is mainly:
? Music videos
? Corporate videos
? Brand films
? Long-form YouTube

???? This role is not a match.

4. English Proficiency (Required)
? Fluent or strong working proficiency in English
? Able to understand scripts without hand-holding
? Can match captions, overlays, and pacing to English VO naturally
? Sensitive to tone, urgency, and emotional nuance

???? What You Need to Be Good At
? Understanding what makes an ad convert — especially in the first 3–6 seconds
? Knowing how to pace, cut, and sequence to match the creative strategist’s script
? Being fast without sacrificing structure
? Turning raw content (UGC, testimonials, overlays) into clean ad flows
? Spotting when a visual slows the message and fixing it independently

???? KPIs
? Final ads delivered per week: 18–27 finished video ads (with variations)
? Hook variations delivered per week: Minimum 3 hook cuts from the same script
? Thumb-stop rate (0–3s retention): ? 30%
? Edit approval rate (1st version): ? 80?cepted without major changes
? Re-edit turnaround time: ? 24 hours
? Raw assets tagged and uploaded: 100% to Google Drive B-Roll folder

???? Daily Tasks
? Check for new scripts and concepts from Creative Strategist
? Review brief, script, and reference ads
? Request missing footage or raw files if needed
? Cut 2-3 CONCEPTs/day depending on complexity
? Use platform-first pacing (hook in first 0.5–1.5s)
? Add captions, overlays, and brand assets
? Save files in final output folder and update naming convention
?Upload all trimmed/raw B-roll used to shared Drive

???? Weekly Tasks
? Deliver 5–10 final edited concepts by Friday
? Build at least 5 hook variations per script
? Review ad performance with Creative Strategist
? Reverse-engineer top-performing videos
? Tag and organize raw content used in edits

???? Collaboration
? Align with Creative Strategist on angle and awareness level
? Stay updated on hook formats that are working
?Sync weekly with strategist and media buyer
? Propose improvements proactively

???? Non-Negotiables
? No unlabelled videos or dumped B-roll
? No edits launched without hook clarity
? You are not just editing — you are building a winning ad system
? Hit your weekly quota and own quality
? Stay curious and reverse-engineer winning Meta/TikTok ads
