Remote CAD Draftsperson (Kitchens, Joinery & Bathrooms)

Full-Time (40 hours per week) | Remote (Philippines) | AU Hours. 8.00am - 4.30pm (AEST)- Long-term, Stable Opportunity.

We’re a premium Australian BPO seeking an experienced CAD Draftsperson for our client, an Australian design and construction company specialising in high-end kitchens and bathrooms and custom joinery.

This full time role offers the flexibility of working from home, a market leading salary package + paid leave + bonuses and a supportive BPO environment. We’re looking for an experienced (5 years +) CAD Draftsperson with a strong background in Australian joinery/cabinetry drafting—not just general architectural drafting—who can confidently deliver accurate, build-ready drawings in a fast-paced environment.

The Role-
You’ll play a key role in a dynamic team, translating design concepts into detailed, practical drawings, working closely with designers and the construction team from concept through to final documentation.

Key Responsibilities Include-
Prepare detailed CAD drawings for kitchens, joinery, and bathrooms
Develop 3D models using SketchUp and Layout software
Interpret plans, specifications, and design markups accurately
Identify and resolve potential issues early (dimensions, clearances, appliance integration)
Update and revise drawings throughout the project lifecycle
Ensure all drawings meet design intent, build requirements, and company standards
Collaborate with designers and tea ---------- mbers to resolve queries

Key Requirements Include-
Strong experience in Australian joinery/cabinetry drafting (essential)
High proficiency in SketchUp and Layout (essential)
Strong understanding of:
-Cabinet construction
-Appliance integration
-Clearances and spatial planning
-Ability to read and interpret plans/specifications with accuracy
-High attention to detail with a focus on first-time accuracy
-Confident communicator who asks questions early when needed
- Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal
-Ability to manage multiple projects and overlapping timelines and deadlines

Cost- Estimating experience
Experience with cabinet manufacturing or installation drawings

Technical Requirements (Essential)-
To ensure optimal performance with SketchUp and Layout, candidates must have:

- Minimum 32GB RAM
- Intel i7 (or equivalent) CPU
- S- SD: 512GB – 1TB

- Fast and stable internet connection (suitable for handling large files and cloud-based workflows).
