We are hiring a confident, professional English-speaking Customer Service & Dispatch Coordinator to manage inbound calls and dispatch technicians during our after-hours service window.
This role is critical to our operations. You will be the first point of contact for customers experiencing urgent plumbing, HVAC, or electrical issues after hours, and you will coordinate technicians to respond quickly and professionally.
You will represent our company on every call. Strong, natural English communication is not optional. You must be able to speak clearly, understand nuance, and communicate with confidence and professionalism.
This role requires someone who can remain calm under pressure, prioritize urgent calls, and coordinate technicians efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
Answer inbound customer calls promptly and professionally
Respond to follow-up questions via phone and text
Provide reassurance and clear communication to customers experiencing urgent home service issues
Follow qualification scripts accurately
Book appointments directly into the calendar when calls are non-emergency
Dispatch Responsibilities
Dispatch on-call technicians for emergency service calls
Communicate job details clearly to technicians
Coordinate technician availability and routing
Monitor service call progress and update customers when necessary
Escalate urgent issues to management when needed
CRM & Documentation
Update detailed notes in our CRM
Record customer concerns accurately
Document call outcomes and dispatch status
Maintain organized records of after-hours service calls
Performance Expectations
Maintain fast response times on inbound calls
Follow company dispatch protocols
Maintain professional, calm communication during emergencies
Meet daily call handling and scheduling targets
Requirements (Please Read Carefully)
C2-level or near-native English fluency (required)
Clear, professional speaking voice
Strong listening skills and conversational awareness
Prior customer service, appointment setting, call center, or dispatch experience
Comfortable speaking with homeowners and business owners
Ability to remain calm and organized during urgent service calls
Reliable high-speed internet
Quiet, professional home office setup
Coachable, dependable, and detail-oriented
This role requires someone who can sound natural and confident on the phone. If English is difficult or heavily accented to the point of impacting clarity, this role will not be a fit.
Compensation & Position Details
$3–$6 per hour, based on experience and performance
Full-time position with consistent hours
After-hours shift coverage (evenings or overnight)
