About Disruptors Media
We are an AI-first marketing agency based in Utah, serving contractors, trades, medical, legal, and professional service businesses across North America. We operate as the fractional CMO and Chief AI Officer for clients generating $300K+ in revenue, helping them win through content, systems, and AI that actually move the needle.
Our content is direct, culturally sharp, and built to stop the scroll. We believe AI should handle the repetitive work so humans can focus on creativity, judgment, and story. That philosophy shapes everything we ship, including the role you are reading about right now.
The Role
We are hiring a Video Editor who knows how to turn raw footage into content people actually watch. You will own the full edit cycle for short-form social content, long-form podcast cuts, client deliverables, and reaction-style commentary videos for our founder and client personal brands.
This is not a role for someone chasing polish over story. We care about pacing, hooks in the first two seconds, emotional charge, and retention. If you understand why a cut lands and can defend your choices, you will thrive here.
What You Will Own
Edit short-form vertical video (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn) with a focus on retention, pacing, and hook-driven openings.
Cut long-form content including podcasts, webinars, and client interviews, then carve out clip packages for social distribution.
Produce client deliverables ranging from brand films and service videos to sales assets and event recaps.
Apply captions, motion graphics, b-roll, sound design, color correction, and audio mixing to a professional standard.
Use AI-assisted tools (Descript, Opus Clip, ElevenLabs, Runway, and similar) to move faster without sacrificing quality.
Manage your own project pipeline in our systems, hit deadlines without hand-holding, and communicate proactively when something is off track.
Give honest creative input. If a piece is not working, say so and propose a fix.
