JOB OVERVIEW

Job Title: Social Media Manager (US-Based Startup Cruise Agency)
Type: Part-Time (10–15 hours per week)
Location: Remote (Philippines)
Schedule: Night Shift / USA CST (Starts 9:00 PM PHT / 8:00 AM CST)

About the Role

We are a growing startup cruise travel agency in the US looking for a creative, tech-savvy Filipino Social Media Manager. As our first social media hire, you will lead our content strategy as a "team of one." This role is perfect for a night-shift professional who is an expert at blending traditional video editing with modern AI tools.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy: Build and manage a content calendar tailored to the US travel market.

Video & AI: Edit pre-recorded cruise video and use AI tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, HeyGen) to create high-impact reels and image-to-video content.

Design: Create high-quality static images and carousels for Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest.

Analytics: Provide weekly reports on content performance and engagement.

Technical Requirements

Connectivity: Must have a stable fiber internet connection with a reliable power/data backup.

Hardware: Own a computer capable of handling video rendering and graphic design tasks.

Experience: Previous experience managing social media for a travel agency or cruise line is a major plus.

Communication: Fluent English (written and verbal) with an understanding of US cultural nuances and "travel-speak."

Compensation & Benefits

Rate: $4/hr

Payment: Bi-weekly via Wise
