JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Virtual Medical Assistant to join our growing team!

If you are confident in handling phone calls, documenting patient encounters, and supporting medical administrative tasks — we would love to hear from you!

???? Responsibilities:
* Handle inbound and outbound patient calls professionally
* Assist with appointment scheduling, confirmations, and follow-ups
* Perfor ---------- dical scribing / transcription during or after patient encounters
* Conduct insurance verification and eligibility checks
* Assist with basic medical billing tasks (claims follow-up, checking statuses, etc.)
* Maintain accurate and organized patient records and documentation
* Coordinate with providers and clinic staff as needed
* Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times

? Requirements:
* At least 1 year experience as a Virtual Medical Assistant (VMA)
* Strong phone communication skills (clear, confident, and professional)
* Experience with medical scribing or transcription
* Knowledge of insurance verification and medical billing processes
* Familiarity with at least one EMR/EHR system (e.g., Athena, eClinicalWorks, Kareo, etc.)
* Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
* Ability to multitask and work independently
* Reliable internet connection and a quiet work environment

* Background in healthcare or medical-related field
* Experience working with U.S. healthcare clients
* Knowledge of medical terminology and workflows
* Prior experience in call-heavy roles (front desk / receptionist)
