About us

Franzy is the Zillow for franchising. Venture-backed, with investors including Alex Hormozi and Anthony Pompliano. We've been featured on My First Million, The Koerner Office, and Fox Business.

We're building a YouTube channel in the vein of UpFlip and Girdley Media: real stories of people buying and operating businesses, franchise deep dives, and education on the path to ownership.

The role

Our founding editor. Long-form YouTube (5 to 15+ min), plus short-form cutdowns. You'll work directly with our content lead and CEO, and shape the look and feel of the channel from day one.

What you'll own

1-2 long-form YouTube videos per week
Short-form clips for Shorts, Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn
Motion graphics, b-roll strategy, pacing, sound design
Story structure input before we shoot

We are looking for:

Experience editing long-form YouTube, ideally business or finance
Examples of edits in the tier of UpFlip, Girdley, Acquiring Minds, Colin & Samir
A feel for YouTube retention: hooks, tension, payoff

Bonus

Helped grow a channel past 100K subs
Thumbnail or creative direction chops


Process
We're sending raw footage to a handful of editors to cut a 6 to 10 minute YouTube video.
