We're looking for an Operations Manager for our growing DTC brand. You will own the supplier relationship, 3PL coordination, inventory management, freight, QC with manufacturer, and all external operational relationships. You think like a business owner, use technology and AI to work smarter, and are always three steps ahead of the next problem.
What you'll do:
You own the full operational layer of the business end to end. You are the single point of contact
for our supplier, warehouse, freight, and compliance. You think six months ahead, flag problems
before they happen, and always find smarter ways to get things done.
- Own the complete supplier relationship — all communications, payment tracking, production timelines, and capacity planning well ahead of demand
- Track defect rates across every batch, work with the customer service team to identify recurring issues, and report findings back to the supplier to continuously tighten their QC process.
- Manage inventory end to end — build the tracking system, make reorder recommendations with buffer planning, use data and demand signals to plan ahead even with limited history, and always find smarter ways to order and hold stock efficiently
- Own all pre-order management — ensure dates are always accurate and every channel is aligned before anything goes live
- Own the 3PL and freight relationships completely — audit every invoice, monitor fulfillment standards, coordinate large incoming batches in advance, and always looking for ways to improve efficiency
- Coordinate packaging updates with designers — minor changes through the internal team, major changes through our freelance packaging designer
- When new SKUs or accessories are introduced, own the full operational setup end to end — production, certifications, manuals, and packaging all aligned before launch
- Track all compliance certifications proactively — know what is current, what is expiring, and chase anything outstanding before it becomes a problem
- Keep all documentation and legal items organised and up to date — nothing slips through the cracks
- Build SOPs for every repeatable process so the operation is scalable and any future hire can onboard without asking a single question
- Work alongside the CS team to feed recurring product issues back into the supplier relationship and QC process
What we're looking for:
- 5 or more years in ecommerce operations, supply chain, or logistics — the more the better
- Strong end to end supply chain knowledge from overseas supplier through to customer delivery
- Experience managing overseas manufacturers — China experience a strong plus
- Proven experience working with 3PLs and freight forwarders
- Analytical mindset — comfortable reading data, spotting patterns, and forecasting demand even with limited history
- Proven ability to build SOPs and documentation systems from scratch
- Startup or high-growth environment experience — comfortable when nothing is defined
