We’re looking for a sharp, detail-oriented content editor to review and refine podcast show notes, episode titles, YouTube titles, and social media copy.
We want someone who understands SEO, but also knows what makes good copywriting. You should know how to turn a decent title into one that feels clear, compelling, engaging, and worth clicking. You understand the difference between flat wording and language that pulls people in.
This is not a “just use AI” role. We are not looking for someone who simply rewrites content with ChatGPT and sends it back. We want someone who uses their brain, has strong judgment, and understands what makes people click, read, and pay attention.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Review and improve podcast episode titles for clarity, curiosity, SEO value, and click-through potential
• Review and improve YouTube titles with a strong understanding of what drives clicks without sounding forced or generic
• Edit show notes for readability, structure, and SEO optimization
• Refine social media copy so it is more engaging, polished, and aligned with the episode
• Strengthen weak phrasing and make content more compelling while staying true to the brand voice
What We’re Looking For:
• Strong instincts for writing titles and headlines that make people want to click
• A real understanding of good copywriting, not just grammar or basic editing
• Solid SEO knowledge, especially around keyword placement, search intent, and title structure
• Experience editing content for podcasts, YouTube, or other digital media
• Someone who can think critically and make smart editorial decisions, not just rely on AI output
• Strong attention to detail and a high standard for quality
>>>>>>>> If you have a habit of disappearing, missing deadlines, or going silent without communication, please do not apply.
What This Is NOT:
• Not a purely AI-driven role
• Not for someone who only knows how to generate ideas with prompts
• Not a basic proofreading job
• Not for someone who writes vague, generic, low-converting copy
What Success Looks Like:
• Podcast and YouTube titles that are more clickable, more engaging, and more strategically written
• Show notes that are clean, easy to read, and search-friendly
• Social media copy that sounds sharp and actually earns attention
• Content that feels polished, thoughtful, and intentionally written
To apply, please include the following:
• 2 to 3 examples of titles, headlines, or copy you’ve written or improved
• A short explanation of why you think they worked
• Include the word savvy on the first line of your application so I know you have an eye for detail
• Rewrite this sample title to make it more compelling:
“Episode 42: Talking About Marketing Strategies for Podcasts”
• Tell us how you approach the balance between SEO and writing something people actually want to click
• Confirm that you do not have a pattern of disappearing, missing deadlines, or becoming unresponsive, reliability and communication
We’re looking for someone with judgment, taste, and a strong feel for what makes copy work. If you know how to make content sharper, more clickable, and more effective, we’d love to hear from you.
