## About Us

We are a fast-growing events company based in Washington, D.C., hosting high-energy singles mixers, speed dating events, and social experiences across Northern Virginia and the DMV area.

We run dozens of events every week and manage 100+ live Eventbrite listings. Our focus is simple: drive attendance, create great experiences, and generate strong revenue through sales and upselling.

We are looking for driven, confident Phone Sales & Events Specialists who can convert leads into paid attendees, support event operations, and deliver excellent customer experiences.

## Role Overview

This is a sales-first role.

You will be responsible for:

* Calling leads and converting them into ticket buyers
* Upselling customers into higher-tier packages (VIP, Elite, Concierge)
* Assisting with event setup, coordination, and attendee management
* Managing Eventbrite listings and customer communication

If you are comfortable on the phone, persuasive, and know how to close, this role is for you.

## Work Schedule

* Flexible hours (must overlap with U.S. EST time)
* Availability during evenings and weekends is a big plus (peak sales and event times)

## Compensation

* $2 – $5 USD per hour (based on experience) Plus Commission.
* Plus performance bonuses for:

* Ticket sales
* Upsells
* Revenue generated

High performers will earn more and grow quickly.

## Key Responsibilities

### Phone Sales & Lead Conversion

* Call inbound and outbound leads
* Convert inquiries into paid event attendees
* Follow up with past attendees and warm leads
* Handle objections and close sales confidently

### Upselling & Revenue Growth

* Promote VIP, Elite, and Concierge ticket tiers
* Increase average order value per customer
* Recommend the best event experiences based on customer needs

### Eventbrite & Event Management

* Create and update Eventbrite listings
* Monitor ticket sales and optimize listings
* Duplicate and manage multiple weekly events

### Customer Support

* Respond to emails and inquiries quickly
* Provide clear, professional communication
* Handle refund requests and customer concerns

### Event Coordination Support

* Assist with organizing events
* Coordinate with venues and reservations
* Help ensure smooth event execution

## Requirements

* Strong spoken and written English
* Proven experience in phone sales or closing deals
* Experience with Eventbrite, event management, or marketing
* Comfortable upselling and handling objections
* Strong customer service skills
* Organized and detail-oriented
* Reliable internet and ability to work independently

## Do NOT Apply If

* You are not serious about performance and results

## Bonus Skills (Highly Preferred)

* Event hosting or event coordination experience
* CRM or lead management experience
* Sales scripts and funnel experience
* Experience working with U.S.-based customers
