Real Estate Title & Lien Analyst (Remote & Long Term)
We are a U.S.-based real estate research company focused on identifying financial opportunities in foreclosure cases, lien positions, and surplus funds.
This is NOT a general VA position.
We are looking for someone who already understands how to read and analyze property records, liens, and title-related documents.

We are looking for someone who can think through deals, not just collect information.
What You Will Be Doing
You will review real estate and legal documents to determine:
What liens exist on a property
Who holds those liens
The order (priority) of those liens
Which liens may have financial recovery potential after foreclosure
You will analyze:
Mortgages (1st, 2nd, HELOCs)
Judgment liens
HOA liens
Tax liens
Lis pendens
Foreclosure filings and court records
Title reports and recorded documents

We can teach you about surplus funds.
We CANNOT teach you how to:
Understand lien priority
Interpret recorded documents
Think critically through a deal
If you already understand:
Senior vs junior liens
Recording order and priority
What happens to liens in foreclosure
You will do very well in this role.
Requirements
Experience reviewing property records, title reports, or legal filings
Strong understanding of liens and encumbrances
Ability to work through county clerk / court / recorder websites
High attention to detail
Ability to work independently and think critically
Preferred (but not required):
Title examiner experience
Work with U.S. foreclosure files
DataTree, TitlePoint, or similar tools
Work Structure
Long-term position
20–40 hours per week
