JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a growth-focused Social Media Manager to take full ownership of the organic social performance of both Scream Pretty and Lily Charmed.

This is not just a content creation or scheduling role. You will be responsible for:
• Growing our audience and interactions across platforms.
• Increasing engagement and interaction with the right customers.
• Building clear, repeatable content and channel strategy.
• Turning social into a consistent, measurable growth channel for the business.

We already have established accounts with solid foundations. The opportunity — and expectation — is to unlock growth, improve performance, and create structure where it currently doesn't exist.
You will plan strategy, create and edit content, grow engaged audiences, and report on performance across primary channels Instagram and YouTube initially, with TikTok and Pinterest as the secondary focus once primary channel cadence is established.
You will work closely with the founder (Lucy) and paid media lead (Alex), using AI tools (including Claude) to accelerate content ideation and caption writing in brand voice, with British English. Video and photography assets will be provided; your job is to shape them into compelling content, edit where needed, and ensure everything published is on-brand and audience-appropriate.

Strategy & Planning

• Develop and manage a monthly content calendar for both brands across all platforms, aligned to the brand marketing plan.
• Build platform-specific growth strategies tailored to each brand's audience, tone of voice, and business objectives — not just posting plans.
• Identify what content drives reach (discovery), what drives engagement (saves, shares, comments), and what drives repeat interaction — and translate these insights into clear content directions, scalable formats, and ongoing testing plans.
• Plan content themes aligned with product launches, campaigns, and seasonal ---------- nts.
Write content creation briefs for creators to deliver you raw footage / images to edit
• Stay ahead of platform algorithm changes, trends, and content formats.

Content Creation & Editing

• Edit short-form video for Instagram Reels and TikTok using CapCut or equivalent tools.
• Create on-brand graphics and static content using Canva.
• Write compelling captions optimised for engagement and reach — distinct tone per brand, in British English.
• Repurpose content across platforms intelligently — not just copy/paste.
• Work with provided photography and video assets to produce polished, publish-ready content.
• Upload and tag YouTube Shorts and assist with repurposing long-form YouTube content.
Publishing & Community Management
• Schedule and publish content across Instagram and YouTube (primary), TikTok and Pinterest (secondary).
• Update Facebook and Instagram header and profile assets per campaign cycle.
• Monitor and respond to comments and DMs across all platforms for both brands daily, maintaining a positive, on-brand community voice.
• Escalate issues or sensitive interactions appropriately.
• Pin and tag products on Pinterest consistently.

UGC & Creator Support
• Track creator content performance and flag high-performing assets to the wider team for use in paid campaigns.
• Identify organic UGC that can be repurposed and recycled into paid social content.

Analytics & Reporting
• Pull monthly social performance reports across all platforms and brands, set against agreed KPI metrics via a ---------- dashboard.
• Track key metrics: follower growth, engagement rate, reach, saves, and link clicks.
• Identify what's working, what isn't, and recommend changes with evidence.
• Present monthly insights in a clear format for the founder and paid media lead.

Our customer is style-conscious, loves the curated ear, and shops across independent and mainstream brands.

Lily Charmed sells premium recycled sterling silver and gold-plated charm jewellery — all designed in the UK - charms that represent the people, places, and passions in our customers' lives. Our charms are compatible with Pandora-style bracelets and positioned as a quality demi-fine alternative. Our customer is a thoughtful gift-buyer or a charm collector telling their story.

Both brands are distinct in tone, audience, and aesthetic. You will be responsible for maintaining two separate, high-quality social presences that feel nothing like each other.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• 5+ years managing social media for a product-based or e-commerce brand — not agency only.
• Proven experience growing and scaling social accounts, not just maintaining them.
• Demonstrable results improving engagement, not just follower count.
• Experience managing more than one brand or audience simultaneously.
• Strong portfolio of short-form video content and social-first creative work demonstrating growth results.
• Proven track record of using analytics to improve performance, not just report on it.

Skills & Tools
• Expert-level Canva — templates, brand kits, and social asset production.
• Proficient video editing in CapCut, InShot, or equivalent mobile/desktop tools.
• Strong written English — captions must be sharp, persuasive, on-brand, and in British English.
• Comfortable with social analytics tools — native insights and third-party reporting.
• Ability to work independently, manage own time, and hit deadlines without hand-holding.

NICE TO HAVE

Experience with jewellery, accessories, or fashion brands specifically.
• Familiarity with ---------- for task and approval management.
• Understanding of SEO as it applies to Pinterest and YouTube.
• Experience with Klaviyo or email marketing platforms.

Note on salary: We are aware that $800–$1,200 is at the mid-range for this level of experience in the Philippines. We are open to discussing salary for exceptional candidates with a strong portfolio.
