JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role
We're looking for a sharp, self-directed IT specialist who can operate across multiple business units — the kind of person who owns problems fully, acts without being asked, and leaves systems better than they found them. Less help desk, more trusted technical operator.

What You'll Own
- I ---------- response — first on it, fast to diagnose, clear to communicate
- Servers, VMs, containers (Docker/LXC), networking, and Azure
- Software developer infrastructure — sessions, container health, and deployment pipelines
- Monitoring and alerting so we catch issues before users do
- Team tool support — permissions, integrations, configurations
- Identifying repetitive processes and getting them documented and automated

What We're Looking For
- Solid hands-on experience with Docker, Linux, and shell scripting
- Windows Server and Azure administration
- Knows the difference between a container that's running and services that are healthy
- Familiar with process managers (supervisord, PM2, systemd)
- Strong diagnostic instincts — asks before assuming, documents after fixing
- Clear communicator with non-technical stakeholders

How You Work:
- You keep digging when you hit a wall — you try different angles before concluding something can't be done
- You don't wait for someone to follow up and ask why it's still not fixed
- You notice problems and act without being asked
- You treat blockers as puzzles, not reasons to stop

Nice to have:
- CI/CD and automated deployments
- SQL Server, MySQL, or similar
- Monitoring tools (Grafana, UptimeRobot, PagerDuty)
- Familiarity with SOC 2 compliance requirements
