About Dale Carnegie

Dale Carnegie is a global training organisation. The founder wrote How to Win Friends and Influence People, and for over a century we've helped people and teams build communication, leadership, and sales capability. We're ranked among the top 20 leadership development companies globally.

In Australia, we run open enrolment training courses and work with some of the country's largest organisations on leadership development, sales capability, and culture change. The marketing team is small, fast-moving, and focused on doing good work.

The role

The Marketing Assistant supports the Marketing Manager across campaigns, content, and digital channels. It's hands-on, with real ownership of the day-to-day execution, not a research-only seat.

What the role covers:

Helping plan and run marketing campaigns end to end
Updating and creating website content
Planning and executing regular email campaigns (with the help of a Claude AI agent) that engage and nurture our audience
Managing social media across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
Briefing and coordinating with the graphic designer. Design work sits with the designer, so this role is about clear briefs, timelines, and feedback.
Project work as directed by the Marketing Manager

What we're looking for

Must have:
Strong, clear, professional written and verbal English. This one matters. The role involves daily writing across website copy, emails, and social, plus regular communication with the Australian team.
Previous experience in a marketing assistant or similar role
Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with CRM and CMS systems. Salesforce and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a real advantage.
Keen eye for detail
Able to juggle competing priorities and hit deadlines
Self-managed and comfortable working in a fully remote setup

Nice to have:
Light design skills in Canva or Adobe Suite for small edits
Experience with social scheduling tools (Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Later)

Why it's worth applying

Permanent full-time role, not short-term contract work
Work directly with a supportive, collaborative marketing team
Real career development and professional training opportunities
Immediate start

How to apply

Send a short cover note along with a CV. In the cover note, a few sentences on:
- Why this role caught your interest
- A recent marketing project you have worked on and what the contribution and outcomes were
- Confirmation that the 10am to 6pm AEST schedule works
