JOB OVERVIEW

Hi there,

I run a very small marketing and communications business in Melbourne, and I’m looking for a detail-oriented VA to help clean up and ---------- my Facebook Page access and permissions.

Over time, I’ ---------- been added to multiple Facebook Pages (clients, past projects, community groups), and it’s become messy and hard to manage.

I’d like to centralise everything into my Meta Business Manager and remove any unnecessary or outdated access.

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Audit & Organisation

Review all Facebook Pages I currently have access to
Categorise pages into:
Active clients (keep)
Inactive / no longer needed (remove)
Personal/irrelevant

2. Meta Business Manager Setup

Move or connect active pages into my Business Manager
Ensure correct roles and permissions are set (admin/editor etc.)
Remove duplicate or confusing access (personal vs Business Manager)

3. Clean-Up & Access Removal

Remove me from pages that are no longer relevant
Where needed, assist in contacting page owners/admins with instructions

4. Simple Documentation

Create and maintain a Google Sheet tracking:
Page name
Status (active/inactive)
Access type
Actions taken

5. Risk Awareness

Make sure no pages lose admin access during changes
Flag anything unclear before making changes

Requirements:
Strong experience with Facebook Pages + Meta Business Manager
You understand page roles, permissions, and access levels
High attention to detail (this is clean-up work, not creative work)
Good written English (for occasional messages to page owners)
Comfortable working independently and asking questions when needed

Nice to Have (but not essential):
Experience managing multiple client accounts
Familiarity with agencies or social media workflows

Hours & Timeline:
Initial project: approx. 5–10 hours

How to Apply:

Please include:

A short summary of your experience with Meta Business Manager
An example of a similar task you’ve done (if any)
Your hourly rate in $AUD
The word “Ripple” at the top of your application so I know you’ve read this

Bonus (optional):

If you’ve ever cleaned up a messy Business Manager before, tell me what the biggest issue was and how you fixed it.

I look forward to receiving your submission or questions.
Thanks,
Kate
