About CloseControl

CloseControl builds virtual receptionists for service businesses across the United States. We work with plumbers, HVAC companies, electricians, roofers, landscapers, cleaners, and other service businesses that rely on phone calls for customers. Our job is to make sure they never miss another call.

This role requires a neutral or near-native English accent. You will be speaking directly with American business owners by phone. A strong regional accent of any kind will make this role difficult. Please only apply if you are confident in your spoken English clarity with US-based clients.

The Role
Your job is simple: get service business owners booked on a 15-minute call with our specialist.
How you get there is up to you. Cold calls, warm follow-ups, callbacks, voicemails, emails, LinkedIn messages, SMS — whatever professional approach you believe will get the appointment booked. We're not looking for someone who just dials a list and checks a box. We want someone who thinks independently, adjusts when something isn't working, and takes full ownership of their results.
If a prospect says "call me next week," you follow up without being told. If a certain approach isn't converting, you switch it up. If you spot a better way to get in front of business owners, you bring it to the table.
What matters is appointments that show up — not just activity for the sake of activity.

What You'll Do Every Day

Conduct 80+ outreach attempts per day (calls, follow-ups, emails, messages — whatever works)
Identify and contact service business owners who could benefit from our service
Book qualified prospects on a 15-minute call with our specialist
Follow up with prospects who showed interest but didn't book on the first contact
Log every outreach attempt in a shared Google Sheet in real time
Book all confirmed appointments in a shared Google Calendar immediately
Send confirmation reminders to booked prospects
Track your own performance and adjust your approach based on what's working
Submit weekly reports and call recordings every Friday

Compensation

Base pay: $4/hour
$3 bonus for every appointment that shows up
$150 monthly bonus if you hit 35+ confirmed appointments in a calendar month
Base pay raise to $4.50/hour after 3 consecutive months of hitting 35+ appointments
Base pay raise to $5/hour after 6 consecutive months of hitting 35+ appointments
Paid weekly, every Friday

Requirements

Real outbound cold calling or appointment setting experience (not just chat, email, or DMs — you need to be comfortable picking up the phone)
Professional English that American business owners can easily understand
Reliable internet connection with a backup plan for outages
Quiet workspace with no background noise
Comfortable working US business hours long-term (9pm–5am Philippines time)
Familiar with Google Sheets, Google Calendar, and basic CRM tools
Self-motivated — you don't wait to be told what to do, you figure it out

What We're NOT Looking For

Script readers who just dial and hang up
People who need to be micromanaged or reminded to follow up
Applicants currently working another full-time job
Generalists who list 20 skills and specialize in none
