JOB OVERVIEW

We are a small family run business looking for a part-time Graphic Artist / Illustrator / Graphic Designer to support our niche craft supply business with ongoing design work.

The role is for 10 hours per week. Applicants must have a strong level of English & good attention to detail.
This role will mainly involve creating branded social media graphics and editing product images. We also need someone who can draw and create original artwork, not just work with templates or existing elements.
Experience in designing planner layouts would be a bonus.

We are looking for someone who is creative, reliable, easy to communicate with, and able to follow instructions well while still bringing their own design sense to the work.

Main responsibilities:
- Create branded social media posts
- Remove backgrounds from product images cleanly and professionally
- Edit and prepare product photos for online use
- Resize and adapt graphics for different uses
- Follow a consistent brand style
- Draw and create original artwork
- Support other design tasks as required

Bonus skills:
- Planner layout design

Requirements:
- Strong graphic design skills
- Ability to draw and create original artwork
- Good eye for layout, branding, and typography
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to follow instructions accurately
- Able to work independently and manage time well
- High level of written English
- Good communication
- Reliable and consistent
- Portfolio or work examples required

English requirement:
A high level of English is essential. You must be able to understand detailed written instructions, communicate clearly, and ask questions when needed. Please do not apply if your English is only basic.

Part-time:10 hours per week
Salary:
?10,000–?12,000 per month depending on experience and skill level + 13th month pro-rata
