Seeking a virtual Revit Designer/BIM Technician for work in a challenging, dynamic, entrepreneurial and fast paced company in ongoing mixed-use high rise New York City US projects. Full time job applicants only.
Work hours are United States New York City Time, Eastern Time.
Professional, team-player position requires a positive, self-starting attitude, demonstrated organizational ability, high attention to detail and the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision on challenging assignments with strict deadlines in a fast paced environment.
Prerequisite for the job is a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, be flexible in work hours especially when on deadline and the ability to work flexibility on multiple projects in a fast paced environment.
Job description includes:
Using Revit, Navisworks, ArchiCAD and Vectorworks for BIM modeling and coordination of architectural and engineering drawings for high rise Multifamily and mixed use projects (min 5 years experience required).
Creating detailed 3D models, generating accurate construction drawings, and managing project workflows and quality control through BIM.
Ability to create and work in complicated Revit models with multiple Revit families.
Expert level Revit and CAD skills required.
Setting up templates, families and schedules, as well as collaborating across disciplines using Revit work-sharing tools.
Using Navisworks to coordinate large models and detect trade conflicts.
Using CAD software, such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks, to prepare and revise technical drawings
Working with engineers and other professionals to produce and revise drawings that meet their specifications;
Writing related technical documents such as material lists and cost estimates and specification summaries;
Ensuring that all drawings are accurate and meet industry standards;
Updating existing drawings as new information becomes available;
Creating and maintaining electronic Dropbox filing systems of City Building Codes; and
Other functions in support of the company and its executives.
Job requirements include:
Direct high rise Multifamily portfolio experience;
Flexible hours;
Strong communication skills and strong written and verbal English ability (additional Spanish language skills a plus);

Minimum 5 years verifiable experience in high rise multifamily projects in the United States.
As part of the interview process applicant will be asked to conduct and lead a live, walk-through demonstration of a mixed-use complex development schedule to demonstrate applicant's aptitude and knowledge of scheduling and working on a mixed-use project in the United States.
The position is a Full Time monthly salary position with the Company and applicant should not intend to hold other employment for other employers while working for the Company.
