JOB OVERVIEW

DMN8 Partners is seeking a full-time Remote Video Editor with Canva design skills to join our team. We are looking for someone based in the Philippines who can work Eastern Standard Time hours and help us create high-quality video content for social media and marketing campaigns.

This role is ideal for someone who has experience editing both short-form and long-form video content and can also assist with simple graphic design tasks in Canva. The right person should be dependable, detail-oriented, creative, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Edit short-form videos for platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook
Edit long-form videos for YouTube, training content, podcasts, interviews, and promotional use
Add captions, transitions, music, graphics, sound effects, and other elements that improve engagement
Repurpose long-form content into multiple short clips for social media
Create and edit simple graphics, thumbnails, and supporting design assets in Canva
Organize video files, project folders, and content assets for easy access
Follow brand guidelines and editing direction provided by DMN8 Partners
Meet deadlines and manage a consistent weekly workload
Collaborate with the team during Eastern Standard Time business hours

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience editing videos for social media
Experience editing both short-form and long-form content
Strong working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro
Strong working knowledge of CapCut
Basic to intermediate experience using Canva
Good understanding of pacing, hooks, subtitles, storytelling, and editing for engagement
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely without interruption
Able to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST

Preferred Skills

Experience editing content for marketing agencies, business owners, or personal brands
Ability to create clean, professional visual layouts in Canva
Understanding of current social media video trends and best practices
Basic knowledge of file sharing, cloud storage, and team collaboration tools

Compensation

$4.00 to $4.50 per hour, depending on experience
Full-time position
40 hours per week
