JOB OVERVIEW

**About Us**

We're Intent Brands — a US-based e-commerce company running two growing brands on Shopify and Amazon. We're building an AI-first operations layer and need someone to own it.

This isn't a virtual assistant role. This is a technical leadership position where you'll design, build, and maintain the AI and automation systems that run our business — from customer workflows to marketing pipelines to internal tools.

We already use Claude and a suite of AI agents. We need someone who can take what we've started and make it run like a machine.

**What You'll Do**

- Design and build automated workflows using Claude and PaperClip
- Manage and improve our AI agent infrastructure (Claude-based agents, PaperClip AI hub)
- Connect our tools — Shopify, Amazon, Klaviyo, Apollo, Google Workspace — into intelligent, automated pipelines
- Write clear documentation and SOPs for every system you build
- Identify manual processes across the business and propose automation solutions
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing automations
- Stay current on AI developments and recommend tools/approaches that give us an edge

**What We're Looking For**

- Hands-on experience building automations with n8n, Make, or similar workflow tools
- Real working knowledge of AI/LLMs — not just "I've used ChatGPT," but understanding of prompting, agents, APIs, context management, and when to use what
- Comfortable working with REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, and integrating third-party services
- Experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Amazon, or similar) is a strong advantage
- Basic scripting ability (Python or JavaScript) — enough to write a webhook handler or parse JSON, not full-stack development
- Self-directed and organized — you'll have autonomy, and we expect you to use it well
- Strong written English — you'll be writing documentation, prompts, and internal communications daily

**Bonus Points For**

- Experience with OpenClaw, Claude Code, or Codex
- Familiarity with Shopify APIs, Liquid, or webhooks
- Knowledge of Klaviyo, ---------- , Semrush, or marketing automation tools
- Experience managing multi-agent AI systems
- Understanding of prompt engineering and system prompt design
