JOB OVERVIEW

We are a UK-based company supplying fire-safe cladding and façade systems. We are looking for a full-time Estimator / CAD Support Specialist to join our team long term.

This is primarily an estimating and take-off role, with additional support across CAD, admin and internal systems.

Core Responsibilities
• Review construction drawings and specifications
• Carry out quantity take-offs where required
• Populate and issue accurate quotations to prospects
• Maintain high attention to detail in all work
• Work quickly and accurately with numbers and measurements
• Understand product systems and how components fit together
• Interpret and work from basic and detailed drawings

CAD & Technical Support
• Support 2D drawings (AutoCAD preferred)
• Assist with simple concept drawings when required
• Help visualise product applications for projects
• Support development of new system ideas through basic drawings

Admin & Systems Support
• Use Zoho Books for basic finance/admin tasks
• Log calls, enquiries and updates into CRM
• Check stock availability and coordinate with operations team
• Communicate clearly with internal teams in the UK
• Learn and understand product ranges, colours and finishes

Requirements
• Strong experience in estimating and/or quantity take-offs
• Able to read and understand construction drawings
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong numerical accuracy
• Organised, reliable and fast
• Good written English
• Able to work full-time, UK hours

Preferred (not essential)
• AutoCAD 2D experience
• 3D CAD or concept modelling
• Experience in construction, cladding, facades or similar
