Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled AI Video Editor who is proficient in AI video generation tools and professional editing software. You will be responsible for generating, editing, and refining short-form video content for social media, turning creative briefs into polished Reels and ads that meet Stantaro’s visual and performance standards.

This role requires strong editing fundamentals, practical experience with AI video generation, and the ability to shape AI outputs into intentional, client-ready content.

Key Responsibilities:

- Generate video content using AI video generation tools based on creative briefs.
- Edit and assemble AI-generated clips into short-form videos for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Enhance videos with text animations, transitions, pacing, and structure to maximise retention.
- Use professional editing software to refine and polish AI-generated outputs.
- Implement creative feedback accurately and efficiently.
- Perform quality checks to ensure all videos meet Stantaro’s visual and performance standards.
- Communicate clearly with the creative director and team to align on goals, timelines, and expectations.
- Organise and manage video assets, AI outputs, and project files efficiently.

Requirements

- Proven experience editing short-form content for social media.
- Proficiency in AI video generation tools and AI-assisted editing workflows.
- Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and visual flow.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Runway, Pika, Sora, CapCut or similar editing software.
- Ability to refine AI-generated content into clean, professional final edits.
- Excellent English communication skills, especially for understanding briefs and feedback.
- High attention to detail and ability to quality check your own work.
- Reliable internet connection and consistent ability to meet deadlines.
- Portfolio or examples of relevant video work, including AI-generated content.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

- Understanding of social media trends, hooks, and viewer retention strategies.
- Experience creating content for paid social ads.
- Familiarity with building repeatable AI-assisted content workflows.
