We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Research and Development Officer to design and develop travel itineraries and tour packages. The role involves researching destinations, coordinating with suppliers, and creating attractive travel products that meet market demand and customer preferences.
Key Responsibilities
Research local and international travel destinations, attractions, and experiences.
Develop and design tour packages and travel itineraries for individuals and groups.
Coordinate with hotels, transport providers, tour operators, and other travel suppliers.
Prepare costing and pricing for travel packages.
Ensure itineraries are feasible, competitive, and aligned with customer needs.
Update and improve existing travel packages based on market trends and feedback.
Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to promote travel products.
Maintain accurate product information, schedules, and supplier details.
Monitor industry trends to identify new travel opportunities and destinations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
At least 1–2 years experience in travel agency operations, itinerary planning, or tour development is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of tour packages, destinations, and travel logistics.
Good research, planning, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work with multiple suppliers and deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Attention to detail and ability to create well-structured itineraries.
