We're a growing e-commerce brand looking for a skilled video editor to assemble short-form video ads (1-3 minutes, maybe sometimes 3-5 min) for
What makes this role unique: You won't need to shoot anything. All raw material — AI-generated video clips, B-roll footage and product shots — will be provided to you in an organized Google Drive folder. Scripts and voiceover text will also be provided.
Your job:
• Assemble provided video clips into polished, scroll-stopping ads
• Add clean subtitles/captions (word-by-word style, bold, readable)
• Sync clips to voiceover/narration timing
• Basic transitions between clips
• etc...
What we're looking for:
• Experience editing short-form video ads
• Proficiency in CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar
• Clean subtitle/caption styling (not generic auto-captions)
• Fast turnaround — we'll be testing many ad variations
• Good eye for pacing, cuts, and keeping viewer attention
• Reliable communication!
Nice to have (not required):
• Experience with e-commerce/DTC brand ads
• Understanding of direct response ad structure (hook ? story ? CTA)
• Basic motion graphics (simple overlays, zoom effects)
This starts as a part-time role at 10-15 hours/week while we test fit and workflow. But here's the thing — once everything clicks, we're ready to scale hard. We have the systems to produce a high volume of ad variations, and we need an editor who can grow with us. If you're fast, reliable, and deliver clean work, this can quickly become 30-40+ hours/week. The more you can handle, the more we'll send your way.
