We are a well-established electrical company based in Ireland and have recently invested in Simpro Professional.
We are looking for a high-level Simpro specialist to help us set the system up properly from the beginning and then remain available for ongoing support, optimisation, and problem-solving as needed.
This is not an entry-level admin role. It is not suitable for someone who has only watched tutorials or touched Simpro lightly. We want someone with real hands-on implementation experience who understands how to structure Simpro for a live trades business and can help us avoid costly mistakes from day one.
We want Simpro built properly, cleanly, and logically. That means workflows that make sense, templates that are usable, reporting that is practical, and a system our team can rely on without constant confusion.
What you will help us with
Full initial Simpro Professional set-up
System structure and implementation advice
Job workflows, statuses, forms, and templates
Quote, job, and invoice configuration
Customer, site, and asset structure
Catalogue items, cost centres, service codes, and pricing logic
Scheduling and operational workflow setup
Reports, dashboards, and management visibility
Process improvement and best-practice recommendations
Troubleshooting and ongoing support after launch
Training guidance for team use if required
Who we are looking for
You should be someone who has already worked in Simpro at a serious level and can confidently guide a business through implementation, refinement, and day-to-day improvement.
You must be able to look at how a business operates, identify weak points quickly, and recommend a better structure rather than waiting to be told every small detail.
We value clarity, efficiency, and commercial awareness. We do not want a generic assistant. We want a specialist.
Ideal experience
Strong hands-on Simpro experience
Experience setting up or improving Simpro for trades, field service, electrical, construction, maintenance, or service businesses
Good understanding of operational workflows, quoting, scheduling, invoicing, and reporting
Able to communicate clearly in plain English
Comfortable working remotely with owners and office staff
Able to provide both strategic input and practical system work
Strong advantage if you also have experience with
Electrical contractors
ServiceM8, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar operational/accounting systems
System migration or workflow redesign
SOP creation and staff training
Automation and integration thinking
Engagement
We expect more involvement during the initial implementation phase, then ongoing support on a part-time or ad hoc basis depending on performance and fit.
For the right person, this can become a long-term working relationship.
Important
Please do not apply if your Simpro experience is limited, vague, or mostly theoretical.
We are not looking for someone to learn inside our account.
We are looking for someone who already knows the platform well, can challenge bad decisions, and can help us build this properly from the start.
To apply, please answer all of the following
How many years of Simpro experience do you have?
Have you been involved in a full Simpro set-up or implementation before?
What types of businesses have you used Simpro in?
Which areas of Simpro are you strongest in?
Have you helped improve workflows, templates, reporting, or job management inside Simpro?
Can you support both initial implementation and ongoing help afterwards?
