Now Hiring: Designer / Space Planner

We're looking for a Designer / Space Planner who can take a client brief and deliver fully specified, install-ready drawing packages — accurately, efficiently, and without errors. This role demands equal parts creativity and technical precision.

RESPONSIBILITIES

— Develop block plans, space plans, test fits, and renderings using CET Commercial Interiors software

— Produce accurate, fully aligned Bills of Materials that correspond directly to approved layouts

— Collaborate with Account Managers and Project Managers to translate client requirements into functional, code-compliant designs

— Manage revision cycles quickly and accurately — version control and file organization are non-negotiable

— Deliver complete, install-ready drawing packages that align with proposals and eliminate field discrepancies

— Ensure all drawings meet manufacturer specifications, applicable codes, and client expectations before release

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

— High BOM and drawing accuracy across every project

— Fast turnaround on revision requests with zero rework from errors

— Clean documentation that holds up through proposal, install, and closeout

— Consistent, positive feedback from internal teams and clients

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

— Proficiency in CET (required)

— Strong technical eye with the ability to think spatially and practically

— Zero tolerance for errors — you check your own work before it leaves your desk

— Clear communicator who stays ahead of issues, not behind them

— Experience in commercial furniture or interiors strongly preferred

- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently,
- excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, self-starter
- Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction.
- Experience in AutoCAD. (minimally used in the position but still needed)
