QUALIFICATIONS:
-Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or related field (Master’s or PhD preferred).
-Professional licensure as a Geologist or equivalent certification preferred.
-Minimum 15 years of experience in exploration, resource evaluation, and consulting for Ni-Cu-Au deposits.
-Proven track record in sulfide and laterite Ni-Cu-Au systems, including orebody modeling, resource estimation, and feasibility studies.
-Extensive experience in seasonal and remote field operations, managing multi-site campaigns.
-Advanced knowledge of magmatic and hydrothermal Ni-Cu-Au sulfide systems.
-Proficient in geological mapping, structural interpretation, core logging, sampling, and drilling techniques specific to Ni-Cu-Au deposits.
-Skilled in geostatistics, resource modeling, and industry software (Surpac, Datamine, Leapfrog, Vulcan, ArcGIS).
-Familiarity with JORC, NI 43-101, and PERC reporting standards.
-Strong understanding of geochemistry, petrology, mineralogy, and metallurgical characteristics of Ni-Cu-Au ores.
-Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
-Strong communication skills for presenting technical findings, resource reports, and exploration strategies to management, investors, and regulatory authorities.
-Leadership and mentoring abilities for junior geologists and seasonal field teams.
-Flexible and adaptable for seasonal work in remote or challenging terrains.
-Fluent in Mandarin (speaking and reading) to coordinate with stakeholders, contractors, or investors.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Lead and execute targeted exploration campaigns for Ni-Cu-Au sulfide and laterite deposits during seasonal fieldwork.
-Supervise and coordinate geological mapping, core logging, channel sampling, and drill programs specific to Ni-Cu-Au systems.
-Analyze lithological, structural, geochemical, and geophysical datasets to identify prospective Ni-Cu-Au mineralization zones.
-Conduct orebody modeling, resource estimation, and grade distribution analysis for Ni-Cu-Au deposits using software such as Surpac, Datamine, Leapfrog, or Vulcan.
-Prepare JORC, NI 43-101, or PERC-compliant technical reports including Mineral Resource and Reserve estimates for Ni-Cu-Au projects.
-Provide guidance on magmatic and hydrothermal Ni-Cu-Au sulfide systems, including identification of feeder zones, sulfide-rich horizons, and mineral paragenesis.
-Evaluate drill core, channel samples, and geochemical assays to refine deposit models and prioritize exploration targets.
-Oversee seasonal field teams in remote and challenging terrains, ensuring proper sampling protocols and QA/QC procedures for Ni-Cu-Au exploration.
-Advise management on exploration strategies, risk assessment, and project economics specific to Ni-Cu-Au mineralization styles.
-Collaborate with mining engineers, metallurgists, and environmental specialists to integrate geological models with mining feasibility and processing considerations.
-Ensure all field operations adhere to environmental, health, and safety regulations, including safe handling of sulfide-rich materials.
-Present technical findings, resource models, and exploration results to stakeholders, investors, and regulatory authorities.
-Mentor junior and seasonal geologists in geological mapping, sampling, modeling, and interpretation techniques for Ni-Cu-Au deposits.
-Recommend innovative geochemical, geophysical, and remote sensing methods to optimize Ni-Cu-Au exploration efficiency.
-Continuously monitor advances in Ni-Cu-Au deposit modeling, mineralogy, and metallurgical characteristics for potential application in exploration programs.
