We are looking for a creative, fast-moving video editor who lives and breathes
short-form content. You'll receive raw footage filmed by me and turn it into
polished, high-performing TikTok videos, optimized for organic growth and
built to complement our paid ad campaigns.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Edit raw footage into scroll-stopping TikTok videos (hooks, pacing, captions,
transitions, trending audio)
- Optimize every video for TikTok's algorithm, proper length, format,
on-screen text, and CTAs
- Repurpose top-performing TikTok content into Instagram Reels and YouTube
Shorts as needed
- Coordinate with the paid ads strategy, ensure organic content and ad
creatives are visually consistent and reinforce the same message
- Stay current on TikTok trends, sounds, and formats and proactively suggest
content angles
- Deliver a consistent posting schedule (we will align on volume per week)
- Provide basic performance feedback, flag which videos are gaining traction
so we can double down
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong portfolio of TikTok or short-form video edits, REQUIRED (please
include links)
- Proficient in CapCut, Opus Clip, etc
- Deep understanding of TikTok hooks, retention, and what drives shares/saves
- Experience editing content that runs alongside paid ads (Meta or TikTok Ads)
is a strong plus
- Fast turnaround, ideally 24-hour edit cycles
- Good communication and ability to take direction on brand voice and messaging
- Experience in personal brand, coaching, finance, or service-based niches
is a bonus
-must send 2-3 tik toks edited from raw footage if application is to be considered.
This is a part-time role with the potential to grow to full-time as content
