JOB OVERVIEW

Type: Part-Time ? Full-Time Path
Compensation: Based on output + speed (not just experience)

Read This First

If you:
• stack sections until a page “looks done”
• ignore mobile until the end
• rely on Elementor defaults without thinking
• go quiet when stuck

Do not apply.

We are not looking for page builders. We are looking for frontend operators.

About Square 1 Group

We help service-based businesses scale using:
• high-converting websites
• backend systems
• automation

We don’t build websites. We build machines that generate clients.

The Role

You will take a Figma design and turn it into:
• clean
• responsive
• efficient
• production-ready

WordPress sites using Elementor.

What Actually Matters Here

We don’t care if you can “use Elementor.” We care if you can:
• build fast without breaking structure
• keep layouts clean (no duplication / no bloat)
• handle responsiveness without being told
• QA your own work before anyone sees it

Non-Negotiables

You must be able to:
• Convert Figma ? WordPress cleanly and accurately
• Build a full landing page in 4–6 hours max
• Handle mobile + tablet responsiveness properly
• Use reusable components (not copy/paste everything)
• Communicate when blocked (no silence)

Must-Have Skills
• Strong WordPress + Elementor experience
• Understanding of layout structure (not just visuals)
• Experience with Custom Post Types (CPTs)
• Ability to debug:
• layout issues
• plugin conflicts
• responsiveness bugs

Bonus (Signals You’re Actually Good)
• You think about page speed and DOM size
• You reduce unnecessary sections / containers
• You know when NOT to use Elementor features
• You’ve optimized sites before (images, scripts, etc.)

Responsibilities
• Build pages from Figma designs
• Ensure responsiveness across all devices
• Use clean structure + reusable elements
• QA your own work before submission
• Fix issues proactively (don’t wait to be told)
• Communicate early if blocked

Speed Standard

We move fast. If a simple landing page takes you:
• 8–10+ hours ? this role is not for you
• 4–6 hours ? you’re in the right range

Required Application Task (NO EXCEPTIONS)

Send an email to: ----------

Subject line: [Your Name] – WP Dev – Kiwi

Include:

1. Loom Video (3–5 minutes)

Walk through ONE site you built:
• show backend (Elementor structure)
• explain:
• how you handled responsiveness
• how you avoided duplication
• how you kept the build clean

2. 3 Live Sites YOU Built
• no agencies
• no team work
• your work only

3. Answer These Questions (in your email)
• How long does it take you to build a landing page?
• What do you do when you’re stuck for 30 minutes?
• What’s your rule for updating your manager?

Instant Disqualification

We will not respond if:
• you don’t send a Loom video
• you don’t include live sites
• you give vague answers
• your sites show:
• duplicated sections
• bloated layouts
• poor mobile responsiveness

This Role IS For You If
• You take ownership of your builds
• You care about clean structure, not just visuals
• You move fast and communicate clearly
• You don’t need to be chased

Final Note

We are building a team of reliable, fast, detail-oriented operators. You don’t need to know everything. But you do need to:
• think
• execute
• communicate
