JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for an experienced Video Editor to join our team and help create engaging, high-quality short-form video content and ads for our e-commerce brand.

We’re looking for someone who has a strong understanding of short-form content, pacing, hooks, B-roll and attention-grabbing edits, and who can take raw footage and turn it into polished videos ready to run across social media platforms.

Responsibilities
-Edit short-form video content and ads using Adobe Premiere Pro
-Turn raw footage into clean, engaging final edits
-Sort through footage and select the strongest takes
-Select and incorporate effective B-roll
-Create strong hooks and maintain engaging pacing throughout videos
-Add captions, graphics, sound effects and other elements where required
-Follow existing brand/ad styles while bringing your own creative editing ideas
-Upload and download footage/projects via Google Drive
-Work efficiently and meet deadlines

Requirements
-Strong experience using Adobe Premiere Pro
-Previous experience editing short-form social media content and/or paid ads
-Strong understanding of hooks, pacing, retention and storytelling
-Confident working with raw footage and selecting the best clips/B-roll
-High attention to detail
-Able to follow references and replicate an existing editing style
-Reliable communication
-Fast and reliable internet

Highly Beneficial

Experience creating or incorporating AI-generated video content into edits is a major advantage. If you have experience with AI video generation tools, please include examples in your application.
