JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a reliable full-stack developer to take over and continue development of an SaaS platform for service businesses.

This system is a modern, all-in-one business management tool designed to systemise and simplify the entire operations of service-based businesses — starting with lawn care and pressure washing. From basic scheduling to route optiization, to fleet management and more.
It replaces spreadsheets, whiteboards, and chaotic WhatsApp groups with one clean platform that gives owners full visibility and control over their business
Our system turns a chaotic service business into a smooth, predictable, and scalable operation — so owners can step back from daily firefighting and focus on growth.

We already have great feedback from potential users and want this project to get to Beta phase as soon as possible.

There is a solid foundation built (Next.js backend, Prisma + PostgreSQL, Redis cache, basic auth structure.
We need someone who can start immediately, communicate clearly, and deliver consistent daily / weekly progress.

Key Responsibilities:
Audit and Take over the existing codebase and continue development either based on current timeline or adjusted to suit your own
Complete and improve the authentication module (JWT + Passport)
Keep code clean and well-documented
Provide daily updates with clear progress and short demos

Requirements:

Strong experience with Next.js, Prisma, PostgreSQL, and Redis
Good knowledge of React for frontend
Experience with JWT authentication and role-based access
Ability to work independently and deliver on time
Excellent English communication (written and spoken)
Available for 15–20 hours per week

Nice to Have:

Experience with AI integrations
Previous work on scheduling, field service, or trade management apps
Familiarity with Google Maps, Stripe, Xero, or Twilio etc for integrations

Rate & Hours:

$12 – $15 USD per hour
Capped at 15–20 hours per week due to current budget
Weekly payments for completed and verified work
