JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role
We're building a video editing agency focused on TikTok Shop Affiliate content. We work with creators and affiliates who need fast, high-quality short form edits that stop the scroll and drive clicks.
We're looking for 1-2 editors to start on a trial basis with the potential for consistent, long-term work as we grow.

What You'll Be Editing
- TikTok Shop Affiliate videos (product showcases, unboxings, talking, skits, comparisons)
- Less edit-heavy than typical short form conten; mostly cutting, stitching, light text overlays, and dead space removal
- Short form content; typically 15 to 60 seconds finished length with 2-5 minutes of raw footage
- Raw footage provided with notes, creator style profile, overlays, and inspiration videos

What We're Looking For
- Proven experience editing short form content for TikTok or Instagram Reels
- Strong understanding of TikTok Shop Affiliate content and how it differs from standard short form content
- Ability to understand a creator's style and the small nuances of each individual (font preferences, music choice, subtitle use, pacing, etc.)
- Proficient in CapCut
- Reliable; must hit deadlines with a 24 hour turnaround time
- Ability to handle volume (up to 100 videos per day)

Speed Benchmark:
Our editors and the creators we work with typically complete edits like these in 2-5 minutes per video given the straightforward scope. We understand it may lean closer to 5-7 minutes per video in the beginning while getting familiar with our style and workflow; but that is the long term benchmark we work toward.
