JOB OVERVIEW

We’re hiring a drafting professional to join our remote team! Workload will generally be 30-40 hours per week.
If you have a degree in architecture, experience producing drawings for U.S. buildings, and a sharp eye for detail — we want to hear from you. Our ideal candidate will take ownership of problems and be resourceful in solving them. He/she will hunger for progress, learning, and growth.

We’re a growing architectural drafting company looking for a dedicated, long-term tea ---------- mber. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, deep familiarity with U.S. residential construction methods, and a passion for producing clean, accurate construction documents.

Responsibilities:
- Draft architectural plans, elevations, and details in AutoCAD
- Produce construction drawings in line with U.S. building conventions
- Interpret redlines, sketches, and markups from U.S.-based designers
- Maintain organized layers, line weights, and dimension standards
- Communicate effectively with the team and meet deadlines reliably

Requirements:
- Degree in Architecture or closely related field
- 3+ years of experience with AutoCAD in a professional setting
- Strong understanding of U.S. construction methods and terminology
- Wood framing, foundation types, roofing, siding, insulation, etc.
- Familiarity with typical U.S. drawing sets: site plans, floor plans, framing plans, sections, and elevations
- Proficient with AutoCAD: linework, layers, dimensions, hatching, blocks
- High attention to detail — accuracy is critical in this role
- Reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum 30 Mbps)
- Strong English communication skills (spoken and written)

Tech Requirements:
- Computer capable of running AutoCAD smoothly
- Stable internet (speed test may be requested)
- Familiarity with cloud storage and communication tools (Google Drive, Google Meet, etc.)

Working Hours:
- As-needed work, up to 40 hours per week, remote
- Some overlap with U.S. business hours preferred (flexible)
