JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a skilled YouTube video editor to help us produce high-quality long-form
content for a fast-growing entrepreneurship and financial education brand.

This is a long-term role for someone who takes pride in clean, high-quality edits and wants to
grow with a serious content operation.

Our content is designed for entrepreneurs and business owners focused on scaling their
companies, accessing capital, and building real wealth.

You will primarily be editing:
• Podcast episodes
• Educational talking-head videos

This is a full-time role with consistent weekly work and long-term opportunity.
Must be available during EST business hours.

All interviews will be conducted during EST
hours.

What You’ll Be Working On

1. Podcast Episodes (45–90 minutes)
• Clean up dead space and tighten pacing
• Identify and build strong intro hook segments (this is critical)
• Insert commercials or call-to-action segments when needed
• Add simple on-screen graphics (text, social handles, callouts)
• Deliver clean, YouTube-ready final videos

2. Talking-Head Educational Videos (8–15 minutes)
• Remove pauses and tighten delivery
• Maintain smooth, clean pacing
• Add graphics, text, and visual enhancements when appropriate
• Ensure videos are engaging and easy to follow
We are not looking for basic cutting.
We value editors who understand pacing, flow, and viewer retention.

Editing Style (Reference Only)
We draw inspiration from creators such as:
• Alex Hormozi
• Dan Martell
• Karlton Dennis
• The Calum Johnson Show

You do not need to replicate these styles exactly, but you should understand modern YouTube
editing patterns and pacing.

Thumbnail Creation (Bonus Skill)
If you have experience creating YouTube thumbnails, that is a strong bonus.
We currently use simple thumbnail styles and templates. This is not a design-heavy role, but the
capability is valuable.

Tools We Prefer
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• After Effects
• DaVinci Resolve
• Photoshop (for thumbnails – optional)

Compensation
$900 – $1,000 USD per month (based on experience and quality of work)
• Paid via Wise (Weekly)

Bonus if you have experience with:
• Motion graphics
• Thumbnail design
• Retention-focused editing styles
