About Us

We're Foreverly, a US-based wedding tech startup building a platform that shows couples transparent wedding venue pricing. The founder also owns a wedding venue in Minnesota. We're creating content across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn to grow both the company brand and the founders' personal brands.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be our go-to editor for all short-form video content. Each week, we'll drop raw footage into a shared Google Drive folder. You turn that into finished, ready-to-post videos.

Some videos will be simple a talking head clip that just needs captions, a clean cut, and a hook on screen. Others will be more involved split-screen formats, screen recordings with voiceover, b-roll cuts, multi-clip story edits, trend-based formats, and more complex motion text. The mix will vary week to week.

Specifically, you'll handle:

Cutting raw footage into 15-90 second short-form videos
Adding auto-synced captions (styled to match current trending formats)
Text overlays, hooks on screen, lower thirds
Formatting and exporting for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn
Suggesting cuts, hooks, or improvements when you see opportunities (we value creative input)
Occasional thumbnail creation or static graphics for carousels
Volume

Approximately 15-25 finished videos per week across company and personal brand content. Most weeks will be around 15. The majority will be for the Foreverly company accounts, with some for the founders' personal accounts.

What We're Looking For

Strong portfolio of short-form content (TikTok/Reels style, NOT wedding cinematography or corporate video)
Experience editing for personal brands, founders, or creators
You know what performs on social right now trending caption styles, pacing, hooks, transitions
Proficient in CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar
Fast turnaround: 24-48 hours per batch of videos
Reliable communication we move fast and need someone who responds within a few hours during working days
VERY GOOD English comprehension (all footage and direction will be in English)
Nice to Have (Not Required)

Experience with startup or business content
Basic motion graphics
Familiarity with wedding industry content
Schedule and Availability

This is an ongoing part-time role, roughly 15-25 hours per week depending on volume. We batch film once a week (usually Sunday or Monday US time) and need first edits back within 48 hours. Flexible on your working hours as long as deliverables are on time.
