JOB OVERVIEW

Inventory Buyer (Amazon FBA) — Performance-Based Role

We are looking for a disciplined, data-driven Inventory Buyer responsible for deploying capital into profitable inventory opportunities across Amazon FBA.

Leads will be provided to you.

This is not a sourcing role. This is a decision-making role.

Your job is not to find products—it is to filter, validate, and execute high-quality purchasing decisions that generate consistent profit and fast inventory turnover.

Application Process (Read Carefully)

To be considered for this role, you must complete our Inventory Buyer Qualification Quiz.

Only candidates who demonstrate strong decision-making ability will be contacted
If you do not pass, you will not receive a response
Qualified candidates will be contacted by our team to schedule an interview

Please read the rest of this posting before taking the exam:

This is intentional. This role requires precision, and the quiz is designed to reflect real decision-making scenarios.

Who This Role Is (and Is NOT) For

This role is strictly for experienced operators.

This is not for beginners
This is not for those looking to “learn” or “try out” inventory buying
This is not a training position

This is for individuals who:

Have real experience purchasing inventory for resale
Understand how to evaluate deals using data (Keepa, SellerAmp, etc.)
Can handle the responsibility of deploying capital and making independent decisions

If you do not already have experience in this area, this role will not be a fit.

Core Responsibility

You will evaluate potential inventory opportunities and d ---------- what to buy using strict criteria around:

Profitability
Sales velocity
Price stability
Competition
Account health risk

Every decision directly impacts company capital. You are expected to operate with precision, discipline, and accountability.

What Success Looks Like
Inventory consistently sells within 30–60 days
Purchases meet or exceed 35% ROI
High percentage of buys convert into profitable outcomes (70–80%+ success rate)
Minimal capital tied up in slow or dead inventory
Clean, compliant supply chain with proper documentation
Key Responsibilities
Review and analyze sourcing leads daily
Apply strict BUY / NO BUY criteria to every opportunity
Execute test buys and scale winners responsibly
Manage restocking decisions based on real sales data
Monitor inventory performance and adjust strategy
Maintain organized records of invoices and suppliers
Ensure all purchases meet Amazon account health and compliance standards
Performance Metrics

You will be evaluated based on:

Net profit generated
Sell-through rate (target: 70%+ within 60 days)
ROI on purchases (minimum 35%)
Decision accuracy (% of profitable buys)
Capital efficiency (profit per dollar deployed)
Compensation Structure

Base: $150/month - $400/mo
Commission: % of net profit on SOLD inventory (tiered based on performance)
Speed Bonus:
Sold within 30 days ? additional bonus
Sold within 60 days ? smaller bonus

Penalty:
Inventory that does not sell within 90–120 days or is liquidated earns zero commission

You are paid based on results, not activity.

Workflow & Training

Phase 1 (First 2–3 Weeks):

Daily review of all purchase decisions
Real-time feedback and correction

Phase 2 (30–60 Days):

Controlled autonomy with budget limits per decision

Phase 3 (60+ Days):

Full autonomy within system rules

Performance reviewed through metrics, not supervision

Non-Negotiable Standards
You must be able to confidently say NO to 90% of opportunities
No emotional or speculative buying
No exceptions to criteria
No shortcuts on compliance or documentation
Required Skills & Experience

Extremely Important:
Must have a STRONG understanding of Amazon FBA ecosystem, account health and invoice/supplier requirements
Experience with Keepa, SellerAmp, or similar tools
Ability to read and interpret sales data and pricing trends
Knowledge of Amazon account health, IP claims, and invoice requirements
High attention to detail and organization

Who This Is For

This role is for someone who:

Thinks in terms of ROI and capital allocation, not tasks
Is disciplined and process-driven
Prefers making fewer, high-quality decisions over high volume
Wants to be rewarded directly based on performance

Who This Is NOT For
Anyone without prior inventory purchasing experience
Anyone looking to learn on the job
Anyone who needs constant supervision
Anyone who prioritizes volume over quality
Anyone who makes decisions based on assumptions instead of data

Final Note

This role directly controls capital.

If you make strong decisions, you will scale your income alongside the business.
If you make poor decisions, it will show immediately in the numbers.
