Ad Creative Assistant (Content Editing & Social Posting – 2 Brands)

Job Overview
We are hiring a Creative Assistant to help edit existing photos/videos and turn them into usable marketing content.
You will be working across TWO brands:
1. eCommerce brand (established, 10+ years) selling water filtration and plumbing supplies — primary focus
2. Local plumbing service (new startup) — secondary, lighter workload
This is a production-focused role, not a design or strategy role.

Important: Multi-Brand Responsibility
This role requires you to:
• Work across two different brands
• Follow different styles and content patterns for each
• Stay organized and consistent when switching between brands
We will provide:

• Guidelines
Your role is to follow and apply each brand correctly, not create from scratch.

Key Responsibilities
Content Editing
• Resize and crop images/videos for:
o Social media
o Ads (Meta, Google, TikTok)
o Website use (Shopify)
• Create simple variations (text overlays, formatting)
• Cut and edit short clips from longer videos

Video Review & Clip Selection
• Review longer raw videos and identify usable highlights
• Select key
• Create short clips for social media (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
• Focus on clear, useful segments (no over-editing required)

Social Media Posting
• Post content on a fixed schedule
• Follow provided templates and examples
• Maintain consistency for both brands

Content Organization
• Organize files in Google Drive/Network Drive
• Maintain clear folder structure and naming
• Keep assets separated and easy to find per brand

Light Content Direction
• Provide simple feedback on raw content:
o Angles
o Lighting
o Missing shots
• Suggest what content is needed (before/after, demo, etc.)

Branding (Execution-Level Only)
• Follow brand examples and templates
• Match existing style and formatting
• Maintain consistency across posts
You are not required to create branding strategy

Work Allocation
• Primary Focus (~70%) – eCommerce brand
o Product content and marketing assets
• Secondary Focus (~30%) – Local plumbing service
o Simple, consistent social posting
o Lower complexity

Requirements
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Able to follow instructions exactly
• Comfortable managing tasks across multiple brands
• Fast and responsive in communication
• Able to recognize patterns and apply them consistently
• Able to review content and identify useful clips from longer videos

Tools & Setup (Required)
You must have your own tools and active subscriptions to perform this role.
This includes:
• Canva (Pro preferred)
• CapCut or equivalent editing software
• Reliable computer capable of handling image/video editing
We do not provide software subscriptions for this role.

• Can handle repeatable tasks across multiple brands

This role is NOT suitable if you:

• Want to create new concepts from scratch

Asset Ownership, Licensing & File Delivery
All content and assets are the property of the company.
You are required to:
• Provide all final edited files in full resolution
• Provide source/editable files when applicable (e.g., Canva projects)
• Upload and organize all assets in our Google Drive/Network Drive
• Maintain clear file naming and folder structure
All work created under this role is considered work-for-hire.
The company retains full ownership and licensing rights to all content created, including unrestricted rights to use, modify, distribute, and publish the content.
We must have full access and control of all assets at all times.
No files should be kept privately or withheld.
