JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a high-performance Video Editor to join our fast-growing pet supplement eCommerce brands.

This role is 100% focused on creating high-converting ads using AI tools. You’ll be responsible for turning creative briefs into finished ads across formats like VSL, UGC, and animation—at speed and scale.

This is not a traditional editing role. All creatives are AI-powered, so strong experience with AI tools is a must.

This is a full-time role (Monday–Friday) with consistent daily output expectations.

Who Are We?

We build high-growth ecommerce brands in the pet space, creating products that improve the health and happiness of dogs.

Our growth is driven by direct response marketing and high-volume creative output. We move fast, test aggressively, and scale what works.

Culture & Fit

We operate with a simple mindset:

- Speed > perfection
- Results > effort
- Constant iteration

This is a high-performance environment. If you want a slow, predictable 9–5, this isn’t it.

If you want to:

- Work directly with founders
- Produce work that directly impacts revenue
- Rapidly level up your skillset

You’ll fit right in.

Key Responsibilities:
- Turn creative briefs into high-converting video ads
- Produce VSL, UGC, and AI-generated ads
- Edit and iterate ads based on performance data
- Deliver 2+ completed briefs per day (minimum requirement)
- Collaborate with the team on creative improvements and new concepts
- Continuously optimize for CTR, CPA, and ROAS

Requirements:
- 3+ years experience editing for ecommerce / direct response
- Proven experience with:
- VSL ads
- UGC ads
- Animation-based creatives

Strong AI skillset (MANDATORY):
- Higgsfield
- HeyGen
- ElevenLabs

- Fluent English
- Strong understanding of performance-driven creatives
- Ability to work quickly and execute without constant oversight

Important:
We expect editors to use strong judgment and common sense when bringing briefs to life. Your first version should already be clean, on-brief, and conversion-focused—not something that requires heavy back-and-forth.

This is a high-output environment, so minimal revisions should be needed.

Preferred (not required):
- Experience with Slack
- Experience with Asana

Accountability Metrics:
- Minimum 2 completed ad briefs per day
- Consistent production of high-quality, testable creatives
- Low revision rates (high first-pass quality)
- Contribution to improving key ad metrics (CTR, CPA, ROAS)
- Speed, reliability, and execution

Compensation:
- $1,200 – $2,000/month (base)
- Performance-based bonuses tied to output and results

How We Hire
- Initial interview
- Test project
- Final interview (culture + performance fit)

We move fast and aim to hire within 7–10 days.

How to Apply

To be considered, please submit the following:
- 1–5 minute Loom video introducing yourself and walking through your experience with ecommerce ad creatives (show examples if possible)
- Your CV / Resume
- Answers to the screening questions below:

Screening Questions
- How many years of experience do you have as an eCommerce video editor?
- Are you proficient in using AI tools to develop ads?
If yes, list the tools you use and how you use them (e.g. Higgsfield, HeyGen, ElevenLabs, etc.)

Important
- Applications that appear AI-generated or generic will be ignored
- You must include the phrase “BLUE CAT” somewhere in your application to confirm you’ve read this fully

Final Note

This role is for someone who thrives in high-output, fast-paced environments and can consistently deliver high-quality creatives with minimal hand-holding.
