???????? Remote UK Accounting Technician (Tax & Sole Traders – Long-Term Role)

We are a UK-based accounting practice looking for a reliable, long-term remote tea ---------- mber.

This is not an ad hoc or project-based role. We are looking for someone who can provide consistent weekly hours and take ownership of their work.

The Role

You will primarily work on:

UK self-assessment tax returns (simple cases and non-business income)
Sole trader accounts preparation
Supporting bookkeeping where required
VAT returns (basic)
Required Background

We are specifically looking for someone who has:

Strong experience in bookkeeping
Experience preparing sole trader accounts (or assisting with them)
Understanding of how bookkeeping feeds into accounts

???? Experience with UK self-assessment tax returns is preferred, but not required
Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Key Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
Minimum 20 hours per week (consistent)
Ability to work regular hours each week
Reliable internet and working setup
Clear and professional communication
Ability to work independently without constant supervision
Willingness to follow processes and checklists

Technical skills can be developed — reliability cannot.

Rate

$10 – $12 per hour depending on experience
