JOB OVERVIEW

Flexible hours (async-friendly, non-US hours OK). Option of part time or full time.

We’re a growing children’s toy brand building social content that blends founder storytelling and character-driven storytelling.
We’re looking for someone who can create and edit content, engage the community, and help keep things running behind the scenes.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Create & edit short-form video and carousel (Reels/TikTok)
Strong hooks, clean pacing, text overlays
Help write & shape social captions (including founder content)
Post on Instagram, monitor basic metrics, flag what’s working

MUST HAVES
Strong short-form video editing skills (important)
Comfortable sourcing or creating content
Social media native—you understand what performs
Clear, natural writer
Good instincts for engaging content
Organized and reliable
Basic understanding of AI content generation (ie, Gemini) + analytics
Ideally, you also have experience with kids / parenting content + Open to marketing and admin support over time

TO APPLY:
1. REQUIRED: Please take the time to provide this customized response; missing this will disqualify your application.

Share 2–3 content pieces you’ve edited (Reels/TikTok preferred), and for each:
-What exactly did you do? (cuts, pacing, hook, captions, etc.)
-What was the goal of the content?
-Anything you'd change?

2. REQUIRED: In the subject line, please write your favorite children’s or parenting social media account.

3. BONUS / OPTIONAL:
Show how you would turn below prompt into a 15–30 second video (Reels/TikTok). The goal of this is to understand how you think about content...not how polished your output is.

You can either:
Write it out (structure + editing approach), OR
Submit a rough video (not required, not polished)

Prompt:
A kid refuses to wear shoes and insists socks are enough.
The parent explains why shoes matter.
The kid keeps negotiating with funny “solutions.”
In the end, the kid still doesn’t wear shoes.

Include
Opening hook (first 1–2 seconds)
What happens next (start ? middle ? end)
On-screen text or captions
How you’d approach pacing or cuts

We are looking forward to moving quickly with candidates who meet the skill requirements!
