JOB OVERVIEW

Hey there!

I am looking for a full-time video editor (40–45 hours per week) to help produce long-form, faceless YouTube documentary videos.

These videos are in the “old money / historical wealth” niche (Rockefeller, Vanderbilt, Gilded Age, etc.), and follow a cinematic, documentary-style format — not TikTok or fast-cut editing.

Heavy use of images + subtle motion (zoom, pan, etc.)
Background music layering
Clean, cinematic pacing

What You’ll Be Doing:
Editing long-form YouTube documentary videos
Syncing visuals to voiceover narration
Using images + light motion (Ken Burns style)
Adding background music appropriately
Maintaining pacing and viewer retention
Following a structured SOP (we provide full system)
What We’re Looking For

You MUST have experience with:

Faceless YouTube videos
Documentary-style editing
Long-form content (60+ minutes)
Using images as primary visuals
Clean, simple, professional editing

This Role Is NOT For You If You:
Primarily edit TikToks / Reels / Shorts

pacing
attention to detail
