We are a US-based Managed Service Provider (MSP) seeking a skilled and motivated IT Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique blend of IT project implementation and day-to-day technical support responsibilities, providing an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.
As an IT Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving our clients’ IT environments, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to exciting IT projects. If you’re passionate about technology, problem-solving, and delivering exceptional service, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
**Provide Level 2 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues, escalating complex problems as needed.
*Plan and implement IT projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
*Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, servers, and networks.
*Perform PC maintenance, upgrades, and installations.
*Manage and support user equipment, software, and services remotely.
*Document work thoroughly and update the ticketing system to ensure transparency and efficiency.
Technologies You’ll Work With:
*Operating Systems: Windows and Mac desktop environments, Windows Server.
*Networking: Cisco, Ubiquiti, Fortinet, and general networking concepts.
*Cloud Platforms: Microsoft 365 and Azure.
What We’re Looking For:
**Experienced L2 IT Support role
*Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and networks.
*Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and networking concepts.
*Excellent communication and customer service skills.
*A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred but Not Required:
*Certifications such as Network+, Microsoft Certified, or CCNA.
*Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and virtual environments.
