We're a growing behavioral health practice looking for an exceptionally sharp generalist to own our HR and legal support functions. This is a rare hybrid role — part HR manager, part legal assistant, part recruiter, part payroll administrator.
The ideal candidate is likely an attorney with strong HR knowledge, or a senior HR professional with a legal background. Either way, you need to be able to operate across a wide range of responsibilities with minimal oversight and strong attention to compliance and detail.

RECRUITING & TALENT ACQUISITION
• Source, screen, and reach out to candidates for open roles
• Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and leadership
• Draft and post job listings across relevant platforms
• Manage candidate communications and keep hiring pipelines moving
• Onboard new hires and ensure a smooth first-day experience
HR ADMINISTRATION
• Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and personnel files
• Draft and update employment contracts, offer letters, and HR policies
• Handle employee relations matters with professionalism and discretion
• Support performance management processes and documentation
• Ensure HR practices align with applicable employment regulations
PAYROLL & FINANCE SUPPORT
• Run and manage payroll processing on a regular cycle
• Track hours, compensation changes, and payroll records accurately
• Liaise with accounting or finance as needed on payroll-related matters
• Flag discrepancies and ensure timely, accurate payments to staff
LEGAL SUPPORT
• Review and assist with employment-related agreements and documentation
• Research relevant labor laws, compliance requirements, and regulatory updates
• Support leadership on legal questions related to HR and operations
• Assist with credentialing, licensing, or compliance matters specific to behavioral health (a plus)
