Job Summary
Properties by Preston is seeking a highly organized and proactive Guest Experience Manager to oversee the end-to-end guest journey across an assigned portfolio of properties. This role is responsible for ensuring a seamless, high-quality experience from booking through checkout, while maintaining operational excellence within your designated properties.
The ideal candidate takes full ownership of their assigned properties, communicates effectively with both guests and internal teams, and ensures every stay meets our brand standards. You will play a critical role in driving guest satisfaction, managing day-to-day operations, and protecting the reputation of the properties under your management.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for guests across your assigned properties, ensuring prompt, professional, and solution-oriented communication
Oversee the full guest lifecycle, including booking coordination, check-in, in-stay support, and check-out
Proactively resolve guest issues and ensure timely follow-up to maintain a high level of satisfaction
Monitor and manage guest reviews, addressing feedback and identifying opportunities for improvement
Coordinate closely with cleaners to ensure adherence to quality standards, checklists, and timely turnovers
Communicate guest feedback and issues with cleaning teams to continuously improve performance
Coordinate with maintenance staff and external vendors (plumbers, electricians, etc.) to resolve property issues efficiently
Ensure all assigned properties are guest-ready, well-maintained, and meet company standards at all times
Oversee and optimize property listings across short-term rental platforms for your assigned portfolio, ensuring accuracy, pricing, and availability are up to date
Collaborate with internal and remote teams to ensure tasks are executed efficiently and according to company standards
Delegate tasks effectively while maintaining accountability and operational oversight
Maintain a strong, real-time understanding of everything happening within your assigned portfolio
Qualifications
Strong communication and customer service skills
Experience in hospitality, property management, or short-term rentals preferred
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Problem-solver with a proactive mindset and strong sense of ownership
Comfortable working with remote teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders
Additional Requirements
Availability outside standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
Ability to respond quickly to urgent guest or property issues
