Role Overview
We are looking for a results-driven SEO & AI Search Specialist to join us on a part-time basis, with a clear pathway to transition into a full-time role based on performance.
You will take ownership of organic growth across:
Google search
AI search platforms such as ChatGPT and emerging AI discovery engines
Content-driven SEO across websites and landing pages
This role goes beyond traditional SEO. You will play a key role in positioning our brands and clients for the future of search.
Key Responsibilities
1. Google SEO Strategy & Execution
Develop and execute SEO strategies for Referwo, Elinix AI, and client websites
Perform keyword research, competitor analysis, and search intent mapping
Optimise on-page SEO including metadata, internal linking, content structure, and technical SEO
Drive organic traffic, rankings, and conversions
2. AI SEO (ChatGPT & AI Search Optimisation)
Optimise content to be discoverable in AI tools like ChatGPT and other AI search platforms
Structure content for AI retrieval, summarisation, and citation
Implement strategies for entity recognition, topical authority, and semantic SEO
Monitor and improve how brands appear in AI-generated responses
3. Content Strategy & Execution
Plan and manage SEO content calendars (blogs, landing pages, guides)
Create or collaborate on content aligned with both ranking and conversion
Ensure content supports both Google SEO and AI discoverability
4. Technical & Performance SEO
Conduct site audits and resolve technical SEO issues (site speed, indexing, schema, etc.)
Implement structured data and best practices for modern search
Track and analyse performance using tools like Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, SEMrush
5. Client SEO Management
Manage SEO strategies across multiple client accounts
Provide clear reporting on rankings, traffic, and ROI
Continuously identify growth opportunities and optimisation strategies
Requirements
Proven experience in SEO (agency or in-house)
Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
Experience with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, SurferSEO, etc.)
Understanding of AI search trends and how LLMs retrieve and rank content
Ability to think strategically and execute hands-on
Bonus Points
Experience optimising for AI tools such as ChatGPT or Perplexity
Knowledge of semantic SEO and entity-based optimisation
Experience in ecommerce SEO (Shopify preferred)
Understanding of conversion optimisation and content funnels
