JOB OVERVIEW


Overview

Hybrid role (onsite required)
First month: fully onsite
After: up to 2 days/week remote
Minimum 6-month contract (possible extension ? full-time)
Must be U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
Role Summary

Develop, maintain, and enhance C#/.NET applications for large-scale business systems. Participate in design, coding, and troubleshooting of internal applications (no API usage).

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain C#/.NET applications
Debug and enhance existing systems (no APIs)
Design and develop new features, screens, and reports
Work with large, menu-driven systems (e.g., claims, payroll, insurance)
Handle data-heavy operations (view, update, delete transactions)
Collaborate with team on design and planning
Identify and resolve technical issues
Provide updates and support to stakeholders
Required Skills

C# / .NET (3.1+) – 5+ years (no API experience required)
Angular – 2+ years
SQL Server / T-SQL – 3+ years
Visual Studio / VS Code – 3+ years
Experience with large business systems (claims, payroll, medical, insurance)
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Experience with Agile development
Nice to Have

gRPC (1+ year)
ColdFusion
Experience with other languages (COBOL, Java, Python, PHP, etc.)
Azure DevOps or GitHub
Important Notes

No APIs are used in this environment
Must be able to work onsite in Richmond, VA
Hybrid flexibility only after initial onsite period
