JOB OVERVIEW

I run two YouTube channels: Matt vs Japan (100K+ subscribers) and Matt vs the World (second channel). The content is about language learning, specifically Japanese and Chinese. I'm looking for a part-time video editor, primarily for the second channel, to turn my weekly live workshops into polished YouTube videos and short-form clips.

What you'll be doing:

- Editing workshop recordings into 2 YouTube videos per week (5-15 min each). I provide timestamps, you cut and polish.
- Occasionally editing standalone videos and interviews
- Creating 3-4 short-form vertical clips per week (Shorts, TikTok, Reels)
- Editing the full workshop recording each week following a detailed SOP
- Creating thumbnails
- Uploading approved content to all platforms

Style: clean and professional. The content carries the video; editing supports it. Not flashy. Reference videos:

- ---------- (Matt vs the World, shows screen sharing workflow)
- ---------- (Matt vs Japan, general style reference)

Requirements: portfolio showing YouTube editing work, clean audio editing, good pacing, subtitles/text work, thumbnail creation, strong English communication. Premiere Pro preferred (we use ---------- for review).
